[SUMIPANEL®] Polypropylene thick plastic corrugated board

Sumipanel® has a hollow structure and is lighter than any wooden boards, veneer, or plywood, making it suitable for reducing the weight of products.
As it does not absorb moisture, it does not corrode, and it does not generate paper dust or wood shavings that are commonly produced by paper products or wooden boards.

Main features

  • Thick and parallel hollow structure board between 9 mm and 15 mm
  • Sufficient strength to handle medium weight items
  • Lineup includes a standard type, made solely of polypropylene, and a higher rigidity type, strengthened with talc
  • Suitable for applications where paper dust and wood shavings are undesirable, and for replacement of wooden materials such as veneer, as well as paper materials such as reinforced corrugated boards.
